An Experience of Angel Healing

At the start of last week, I found out that one of my best friends in Boulder named Brad Smith passed away unexpectedly. It hit me like a ton of bricks. Brad had become a stalwart part of my tribe, and we considered one another soul family. On the day I heard the news, I literally spent about four hours crying while calling other mutual friends to let them know. In the following days, the grief became a block of pain in the back of my heart chakra that wasn’t moving. I felt like I was multitasking if I tried to do anything other than self-care because I was always so aware of the grief.

A few days after his passing, I meditated and reached out to Brad. Through my grief and personal loss, I could feel that Brad was doing well on the other side. He knew that he had passed and had moved quickly to a place a peace and joy. I wasn’t surprised. Brad was a very spiritual person who always lived in the moment. While it felt slightly easier to know that Brad was doing okay, it wasn’t enough to shift my own loss. I asked Brad if he could help me move the energy in my body. Seeming somewhat abashed, Brad said that he didn’t know how to do that yet. “Of course, Brad!,” I reassured him. “You just got there. No worries. I’ll keep working on it.”

In the following days, I continued to practice self-compassion. Of course I was in pain. I loved Brad so much and relied on him in ways I only understood after his passing. I reminded myself that I could remain connected to Brad while he was in the Spirit realm, and that we would certainly meet again in this life or the next. I also kept reassuring myself that Brad was feeling peace, hoping this would help me to feel the same peace.

Despite all these practices, the block of pain in my heart chakra remained fixed.

A couple days ago, however, I was in my regular meditation practice and Brad suddenly appeared in a vision! He had a large Angel with him. I heard Brad say, “I’m not able to help move that energy for you yet, Kelley, but I found someone who can.”

After only about ten seconds with this Angel in my energy field, I felt the block of painful grief in my heart chakra begin to move. I have no idea what transpired, as it was outside of any mental processing or intention of my own. Spontaneously and beautifully, I received a healing from this Angel.

The transformation of my emotional landscape brought an immediate sense of relief after so many days of stagnancy. Following my meditation, my husband said the change in my mood and presence was extremely obvious.

Since then, I still think of Brad and miss him, but it is no longer sourced from pain and resistance. I have accepted Brad’s choice and timing, becoming more able to focus on the beauty we shared together rather than the loss.

I felt motivated to share this experience because of my love and gratitude for the realm of Angels and Helping Spirits who are available to assist all of us. Many beings in the non-physical receive a great sense of purpose and fulfillment from aiding humans. We simply need to ask for and receive their help. It may not happen immediately on our Earthly timeline, but have no doubt that Helping Spirits are working behind the scenes to assist you with your request.

Remember, too, that you can ask for assistance with anything. You may need help processing emotions such as grief or anger, or you may want support in manifesting a goal or material vision. Angels have a range of specialties and are available for all kinds of tasks! It also doesn’t matter if you call them Angels, Helping Spirits, Power Animals, Ancestors, Master Teachers, or your Higher Self. Use whatever label you feel comfortable with— and then be willing to ask and receive.

We are all so much more supported in the universe than we realize! Have faith and open to a connection with the unseen realm.

With Such Gratitude,

Kelley Neumann
